Business Consultant
The Business Consultant, by virtue of their experience gained and their exposure to a variety of project areas, will assume more of a leadership role on assignments. They represent our “seasoned” consultants and will carry a significant workload in relation to the delivery of our services. In addition they will act as the point of contact on-site for business related questions and issues that arise and require clarification. They may work on a number of projects or project areas simultaneously.

Responsibilities
- To act as a focal point for the design and development team when discussing design options and the various merits of different approaches.
- To build a high level of trust and confidence with Partners and Customers in relation to their knowledge of the business issues at hand and of Cúram and the proposed solutions.
- Extract, prioritise and document requirements including: Use case and/or process flows, Data definitions and/or logical data models, Screen design and story boarding, QA and test case development
- To scope Proofs of Concepts (POCs), if necessary with technical support.
- To deliver Cúram presentations and/or workshops to Partners and Customers and to internal staff when required.
- Development of custom presentation material.
- Lead JAD sessions when required.
- Analyze requests form Customers and determine whether they are appropriate and definitive requirements.
- Complete detailed work estimates and the appropriate scheduling activities.
- Work with the technical team to accurately and clearly articulate the requirement concepts and to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Articulate Cúram’s best practice approaches to implementation issues.
- Determine the core processes in any program type and identify the common ones.
- Assist in the determination and documentation of the most effective methodologies and best practice procedures.
Skills and Attributes
- A minimum of three year’s experience in a business consultant role working for a large information technology consulting firm OR a minimum of four years experience working at management level for a public sector agency in the delivery of information technology related projects for the Social Security and/or Human Services marketplace.
- Language skills: Fluent German and strong English business speaking skills
- A comprehensive understanding of Case Management functionality and associated business processes of government social enterprises.
- A comprehensive understanding of how to implement and customize Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) social enterprise management (SEM) functionality.
- Proven ability in the areas of written communication and presentation delivery.
- Experience with business process analysis (Use Cases and/or process flows) and mapping (Gap Analysis) techniques.
- Experience with screen design and storyboarding.
- Experience with quality assurance activities and test case development.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings with customers, System Integration partners and Cúram professionals.
- Solid team building, problem resolution and decision making skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to interact with clients at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work as part of a team dedicated to delivering quality results.
- Display initiative and practical application.
- Willingness to travel.
