Responsibilities
The Consulting Engineer primarily contributes towards application development and maintenance, design, testing, documentation and related support tasks. Their work typically focuses on the development lifecycle of components of a Cúram implementation. The applications on which the Consulting Engineer may need to work can be executed in house or on-site at customer specific locations that the Cúram Global Services Group is engaged with. Depending on project requirements, they may be required to travel to customer sites globally from time to time. During this period they may be engaged in project work with Cúram customers in various geographies in North American Region (NAM), Europe Middle East and Asia (EMEA) and/ or in Australia New Zealand (ANZ).
Skills and Attributes
- 3 - 5 years experience in Java, J2EE, SQL, XML, XSL and HTML is a must.
- Excellent OOAD skills with Eclipse development tool.
- Good knowledge on J2EE Specifications (EJB, JAAS, JMS, JNDI, etc).
- Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP, WSDL), SCM tools such as IBM Clear Case.
- Exposure to Rational Rose will be an added advantage.
- Onsite customer facing experience with good consultancy skills will be a big plus All candidates for the above positions will need to have a Graduate/Post Graduate qualification n Engineering/Science and Technology, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
