Certification Guidelines

This page contains information about the prerequisites for each active Cúram certification exam, the associated fees, and the exam eligibility period.

Prerequisites for Cúram Certification Exams

The only prerequisite for the certification exams currently offered by Cúram is the completion of the corresponding classroom training course. However, candidates may apply for a training waiver, as described below. A waiver allows a candidate to sit a certification exam without completing the corresponding classroom training course. The table below lists all active certification exams and the corresponding prerequisite classroom courses.

Certification Exam Fees

Candidates who complete one of the prerequisite classroom training courses are entitled to one (1) free attempt at the corresponding certification exam, if this attempt is made within 90 days after the end of the course.

A fee of USD$150 will apply to any subsequent attempts at the certification exam, or if a first attempt is made more than 90 days after the end of the classroom training course.

A fee also applies to a training waiver. This fee is region-specific. The fees for several countries and regions are listed below.

Exam Eligibility Period

Candidates have up to one year from their course completion dates to take and pass the corresponding Cúram certification exam. If certification is not achieved within the one-year eligibility period, candidates must retake the prerequisite classroom training course, or apply for a training waiver.
