Course Description
This workshop provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of the Cúram Business Application Suite™ (CBAS), which includes the Cúram Enterprise Framework™ (CEF), Cúram Enterprise Modules, and Cúram Solution Modules.
Essential features of the Enterprise and Solution Modules will be introduced. In addition, CEF features will be examined from an architectural perspective. This interactive workshop is facilitated by an instructor and a Cúram architect.
Using discussion, examples, and feature demonstrations, learners will develop a broad understanding of Cúram from both a business and technical perspective, enabling them to interpret Cúram information sources and take advantage of the many features and functions of Cúram.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, learners will be able to
- describe some of the common processes associated with the CEF, including participant and case management
- recognize the services for gathering data from internal and external parties
- outline CEF technical services, such as Cúram Workflow™ and the rules infrastructure
- describe Cúram security features
- describe how Cúram connectors facilitate enterprise integration
- recognize the important features of Cúram Enterprise Modules
- describe the purpose of the CEF Business Services for calendaring, search, and correspondence
- state the purpose of Cúram Solution Modules
- access information sources in the Cúram Documentation Center™ and Cúram Impact and Relationship Analyzer™ (CIARA)
- outline how out-of-the-box Cúram solutions can be customized in a compliant manner
- outline the release, upgrade, and support processes
Pre-requisites
Learners must have a thorough understanding of the following subjects: n-tier client/server technologies and architecture; preferably J2EE or .NET; relational database technologies; and system architecture best practices.
