Objective

Learners will be able to describe the key business and technical services provided by Cúram and outline the typical architectural issues that arise when customizing and integrating the Cúram OOTB solution.

Prerequisites

Learners must have completed the Technical Fundamentals path to have the necessary Cúram business and technical background knowledge to participate in the workshop. Learners must also have an understanding of n-tier client/server technologies and architecture, preferably J2EE or .NET, relational database technologies, and software system architecture best practices.

Path Description

Cúram V5.2 Enterprise Architecture Workshop (CT529) – This interactive workshop is facilitated by an instructor and a Cúram architect. The workshop incorporates examples, feature demonstrations, and question and answer sessions. Topics discussed include CBAS Enterprise and Solution modules, integrated case management, data gathering services, rules infrastructure, workflow, Enterprise Application Integration, code-line compliance, and security issues. The list of topics can be customized to suit the particular audience.

The instructor introduces a topic or feature by way of a presentation or demonstration to give an overview of the feature and then facilitates a question and answer session with a Cúram Architect who can provide real world examples of how this feature has been incorporated in various implementations using Cúram. The instructor and architect can provide further detail or clarification on areas of interest after the workshop if necessary.

Post-Training Options

The architect can further develop their Cúram knowledge by taking technical and business WBT courses from the Cúram eLearning Passport, covering such topics as Cúram Workflow, Cúram Web Services, Enterprise Modules, JMS for Cúram, Data Migration, Upgrade, Reporting, and Search Server.
