Cúram V5.2 Specialized Developer

Cúram V5.2 Specialized Developer

Target Roles

Developer, Tester, and Technical Architect.

Objective

Learners will develop specialized skills to implement and support applications built using specific Cúram technical services.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that learners achieve V5.2 CCD certification either by attending CT520, or completing the appropriate upgrade courses before attending Classic Rules or Workflow. Learners should also have worked as a Cúram developer for at least three months.

Path Description

Cúram Specialized Developer training consists of short courses covering specialized topics. In turn, these topics can be combined to create classroom training that suits your project, support, and budgetary requirements. These courses are called Essentials courses because they provide the minimum training necessary to skill-up a developer in a particular Cúram technical service. Further practice and reading of the product guides will be necessary to fully develop skills after this training. In addition, all Essentials courses can be extended by an extra day to provide deeper skills acquisition via more advanced hands-on exercises, for example, a three-day Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT) course, or a three-day Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering™ (IEG) course. The following Essentials courses are offered:

Course Objective
Workflow Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Use the Workflow Editor and Workflow development process to implement and test simple workflows.
Rules Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Interpret and modify rules using the Cúram Rules Editor and test these rules using the Rules Simulation Environment.
Evidence Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Describe the role of evidence in rules and the temporal evidence pattern. Use the Evidence API, Evidence User Interface, and evidence generator to capture and maintain case evidence.
Cúram Citizen Self-Service™ (CSS) Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Use end-user CSS features. Configure screening programs using the Citizen Portal administration interface and describe how CSS uses the Datastore Schema, IEG, CERT, and PDF application forms.
Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG) Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Use the IEG Script Editor to implement simple IEG scripts and customize existing scripts. Modify datastore schemas using the Cúram Datastore Editor
Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT) Essentials in Cúram V5.2 Interpret schema elements and expressions in CERT, use CERT tools to customize rule sets, and test and debug CERT rule sets.

GLS continues to offer the following 5-day training courses in Classic Rules and Workflow:

  • Fundamentals of Rules and Evidence for Developers in Cúram V5.2 (CT523) enables learners to translate legislation into Cúram rule sets, use the Cúram Temporal Evidence Generator, and develop integrated Rules and Evidence solutions.
  • Fundamentals of Workflow for Developers in Cúram V5.2 (CT528) enables learners to use the Cúram Process Definition Tool to create workflow data and activities, configure flow control, develop work allocation strategies, and configure tasks and notifications.

These courses provide more comprehensive coverage of the topics and include longer exercises. These courses are suitable for developers who will be involved in substantial rules or workflow project development.Cúram V5.2 Certified Developer CT525 CT523 CT528 CTWORK520 CTRULE520 CTEVID520 CT524 CTIEG0520 CTCERT520 CTCSSE520
