Cúram V5.2 Technical Fundamentals

Target Roles

Any roles that require a technical overview of the product, including Project Manager, Project Executive,  Technical Architect, and System Administrator (Technical).

Objective

Learners will develop a broad overview of Cúram from a technical perspective, including features, benefits, essential concepts, and terminology. This level of training is particularly beneficial to project members in non-developer or testing roles.

Prerequisites

A basic grasp of the end-user application provided by Cúram is important for those taking technical training. Functional Overview of the Cúram V5.2 Platform (CB521) provides an overview of the components of the CBAS from a user perspective, including case management, rules, Cúram Workflow™, and Cúram Enterprise Modules. Cúram V5.2 Functional Overview (CBFUNC520W) provides a similar overview of the key CBAS components and can be taken from the Cúram eLearning Passport suite of courses.

A fundamental grasp of n-tier application development and architectures, including object-oriented development and web development technologies is an advantage to learners taking this training, although it is not essential.

Path Description

The purpose of this path is to provide an opportunity for team members who will not take further technical training to gain a broad technical overview of Cúram, its features, concepts, and terminology. A technical understanding at this level assists the correct interpretation of Cúram technical documentation and facilitates clear communication about the product.

Technical Overview of the Cúram Enterprise Framework (V5.2) (CT521) provides an overview of the Cúram Enterprise Framework in terms of the following: architecture, the application development environment and its use in customizing out-of-the-box solutions, and key business and technical services.

Note: CT521 covers many of the topics addressed during the first day of Fundamentals of the Cúram Enterprise Framework (V5.2) for Developers (CT520). Therefore, the first day of CT520 can be replaced by CT521 to provide cost-effective, fundamental Cúram training for developer and non-developer technical roles in your team.
