Social Assistance
Social Assistance includes a range of income and/or asset tested programs that provide a basic safety net for low income individuals and their families. Delivery may be through provision of cash, rent assistance, tax credits, food stamps or eligibility for subsidized services, such as child care or medical care. Programs typically include some form of conditionality, usually some form of work test, and may be time limited.
Cúram Software supports all types of social assistance programs through our Cúram for Global Income Support. This includes full support for a ‘No Wrong Door’ approach to identifying the full range of benefits and services that a person and their family may be entitled to and assisting them to apply for the appropriate ones. It also includes full function common intake processing and the full range of eligibility, entitlement and payment processing associated with all types of social benefits. Uniquely, Cúram Software also provides an integrated approach to outcome management that allows the combinations of services and benefits to be managed across multiple programs to achieve a sustainable client outcome.
