This document outlines the supported third party product prerequisites for the lifetime of Cúram v5. It is strongly recommended that you read the Cúram Software's Support Policy for Third Party Products document in conjunction with this document as it provides essential information about the support categories and support terminology used by Cúram Software.

The 32-bit version is supported for application design, development and testing only. Cúram only supports Oracle 10g Release 2 with NetWeaver CE. Cúram supports the JDK (Java Development Kit) supplied with the NetWeaver CE installation, and is forward compatible with higher JDK versions as supported by NetWeaver CE. |

Cúram supports the JDK (Java Development Kit) supplied with the WebLogic Server installation, and is forward compatible with higher JDK versions as supported by WebLogic Server. It is recommended that the JDK supplied with WebLogic Server is upgraded to a version which accommodates the U.S. Daylight Saving Time Changes in 2007. For example, on Windows and Solaris, the Sun JDK 1.5.0_04 should be upgraded to Sun JDK 1.5.0_06. |

Cúram does not support the WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.13, 6.1.0.15, 6.1.0.17, 6.1.0.19 fix packs due to errors encountered at these levels. Cúram supports the Java SDK (Server Development Kit) supplied with the WebSphere Application Server installation, and is forward compatible with higher SDK versions as supported by WebSphere Application Server. The Java SDK 1.5 SR7 and SR9 levels are not recommended due to changes in behavior which means these updates cannot be supported by Cúram. It is recommended that Java SDK 1.5 SR8 is used. Sporadic NullPointerExceptions have been encountered when building application EAR files using Java SDK 1.5 SR7. An issue with class loading in SR9 has been encountered and is being investigated in conjunction with IBM. Installing APARs PK50684 and PK53882 is recommended to avoid potential SaveFailureException and NullPointerException errors with the JspBatchCompiler script. Installing APAR PK73475 is recommended to avoid a known issue where stopping the XMLServer on Windows via shutting down the command window leaves a process open which holds the XMLServer port. Please contact IBM for the current status of these APARs, which will depend on the WebSphere fix pack and Java SDK levels. Customers should contact IBM to open PMRs in order to obtain early IFIXes and/or APARs as required. |

Cúram Software does not provide technical support for any Integrated Development Environment (IDE) but it should be possible to use any Java IDE for Cúram development. All support for IDEs should be sought from the relevant software vendor.
