Research & Innovation
Leading IT analyst groups, including Gartner and Forrester Research, recognize Cúram Software as the market leader in providing Social Enterprise Management (SEM) software solutions, delivering best-in-class applications for social enterprises globally. Cúram Software created and pioneered SEM, a business model based on the key objectives of social enterprises worldwide.
A Program-Independent Business Model
For a system to be citizen-centric, it must be designed around citizen needs, rather than the structure of an agency or program. SEM answers this call, providing a program-independent business model that is outcome-focused, family-centered, and directed at integrated service delivery. In addition to providing a foundational platform, SEM delivers a common set of flexible, program-independent business processes that agencies can use enteprisewide or for individual programs.
Cúram’s Reference Model – which is at the heart of the Cúram Business Application Suite – enables this flexibility. The model incorporates a market-leading integrated case management capability that allows caseworkers to manage individuals, families, programs, service providers, and service plans in a structured and holistic manner.
Research and Development
Cúram Software leads the commercial-off-the-shelf-software (COTS) sector in R&D for social services solutions. Current R&D activities focus on fighting poverty and abuse and promoting economic development. We are exploring and developing business and technology architectures that span areas, such as child welfare and income support programs, where there are proven linkages and, therefore, opportunities, through early intervention models, to prevent abuse, preserve families, and save millions in government expenditures.
